From ancient times, acorn coffee is the best substitute for natural bean coffee. Acorns contain no caffeine, but are rich in various healthy substances. Acorn coffee generally strengthens the body, cleanses the blood, removes toxins from the body, and it is double more valuable with cinnamon. This coffee is the best from oak acorns, but the coffee powder remains fresh for a few weeks only, because some of the essential oils decompose and dissipate.

Dry the acorns, peel off and rub off the peel with your hands. Pour hot water or milk and wait for 15 minutes to get more soft-flavored coffee.
Then drain off acorns and roughly mash, fry in a pan and grind. Keep in a dry place. Chicory can be added to acorn coffee.
The coffee is made as follows: boil water and add 2 teaspoons of acorn mix for 1 cup. Boil for some time, pour some milk or cream and sweeten.
